I certainly love how trends make their way back to the top of the fashion chain and then go all the way out of style and then come back again even hotter. It is simply a reminder that fashion never fades, we just recycle it all back in time and in style. I can say the same about the hottest trend of the moment "Velvet". Its everywhere you look, from the runways to every new clothing design, every red carpet and even on our feets. Lets talk more about velvet being the fabric of the season and some get fabulous outfit inspirations from celebrities sightings after the cut.

This year alone, Velvet has come from been questioned on the Autum/Winter Runway, to being styled fabulously in top editorials and on models like Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid to being the hottest must-wear Fabric of Fall season. Its everywhere you turn, i cant go two seconds online shopping or scoping without seeing a velvet designed outfit or the infamous velvet boots everyone seems to be loving at the moment. The trend definitely stuck on the Fall 2016 runways, showcased by top designers like Balmain, Dries Van Noten, Stella McCartney, Monse the list goes on and on. Now, every new fashion house/designer is putting out all sorts of Velvet designed clothing and footwear and the best part is that it comes cheap. Maybe not cheap, but definitely cheaper than those big names up there.

Now lets talk Red Carpet/Street Style Inspiration ... When a trend hits the Hollywood fashion scenes, it hits the rest of the world because celebrities dont spare time jumping on trends and when they do, they give the rest of us 1 million and one reasons to follow right behind. Celebrities like Kendall Jenner, Kourtney Kardashian, Chrissy Teigen and Haley Baldwin,  just to mention a few, are already strutting the streets sporting some of these very enviable velvet designs. Social media on the other hand, is crawling with tons of fashionista's giving us velvet inspiration and even the runways across the globe have continued with more of the trend, from New York to Milan and even at the just concluded Lagos Fashion & Design Week in Nigeria. Its definitely velvet season.

Fashion Connoisseurs like Blake Lively are always ahead of these trends; she has a good eye for great fashion. Remember the newly pregnant Actress wearing this elegant gold velvet dress at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival back in May? She looked amazing.

Also in May, we saw the beautiful Keira Knightley walk down the red carpet in Rome for the premiere of her new movie Sofia Coppola's La Traviata, looking exquisite in a red Valentino Fall 15 Couture gown.

Throw-back to this gold velvet Roberto Cavali two-piece on Actress Emily Ratajkowsi, i wouldn't say i loved this number or was a fan of the trend then but she always looks pretty and always find a way to show some skin.

These days, Velvet has made it from the red carpets to the streets and best of all, they no longer come in dark, Gothic, intimate colors. Velvet these days come in all manners of bright and alluring colors, perfect for the everyday eccentric Instagram Fashionista's wardrobe. Speaking of bright, Reality Star Kourtney Kardashian hit the streets of West Hollywood sporting this electric blue Aquazzura over-the-knee blue velvet boots. The reality star has been all about her velvet all year, seen sporting different amazing designs.

She posed for the gram looking super stylish in a Sergio Hudson A/W two-piece which features a velvet spaghetti crop-top and some flare pants. so fancy!

Even on her off days, she is still dressing it up in velvet head-to-toe. Spotted out and about wearing the A.L.C Augusto Velvet Wrap Coat and the  Dries Van Noten Black Velvet Metallic Ankle Boots.

Another star superstar that has been all about the velvet has been the queen herself, Beyonce! when she is not rocking some enviable heels on stage, she is strutting the streets in one. Here she was decked head-to-toe in Gucci and she topped off her fab look with some fabulous Saint Lauren Velvet heels

On stage of her world-renowned Formation Tour, she took to the stage performing in the LFL Lust for Life Blue Velvet Boots.

Another superstar that has been feeling the trend lately, Bad girl Riri! Spotted rocking the very enviable Balenciaga Broken Heel Velvet sock ankle boots. Those are an amazing pair of heels, good way to stay on top of the trend literally!

You thought it was only one Kardashian-Jenner on the list? Kendall Jenner has also been all her about her velvet boots, styling them fabulously she stepped out looking nautical in the Giavinto Rossi Suede ankle boots. Now to some other fabulous recent sightings...

Here she styled her blue Giavinto Rossi ankle boots fabulously with a brown fringe suede jacket and some ripped daisy dukes.

Winnie Harlow was super-sexy in a plunge-neckline thigh-baring Kristina Aadnevik number.

Actress Shay Mitchell was a sight for sore eyes at the 2016 ELLE Magazine Women in Hollywood event looking gorgeous in a plum thigh-baring velvet Gucci number which she anchored perfectly with some silver heels.

Also turning heads at the Elle Magazine's anniversary party, Actress Gwyneth paltrow made a statement of the red carpet wearing this sheer rosette cut-out Gucci Velvet number. What do you think about this look cus i dont think i love it.

Chrissy Teigen wore a statement brown over-the-knee hybrid suede boots for a night out in West Hollywood.

British sweetheart Pixie Lott stepped out for a Breakfast at Tiffany's event wrapped in velvet head-to-toe. Speaking of trends, everyone seems to be loving the "robe" fashion".

Supermodel Rosie Hungtington-Whiteley was spotted looking stylish in the maroon red gown which she accessorized with a ruby designed choker.

Nicola Hughes was spotted at the GLO hair salon rocking a grey velvet robe and some thigh-high fashion. Fashion is definitely heading in an obscure direction. Now we can snatch up our robes and head out and still be mentioned in a trend post.

Lets head to Instagram for some Inspiration...

Its no secret that Velvet is indeed the fabric of the season. It might have hit the fashion scenes earlier in the year but for the unpredictable Fall weather, this fabric and designs are absolutely perfect and timely. With these new designs, one can always keep warm and still be fashionable. For the rest of the world with different seasons, its still going to get cold at some point, so a little stylish velvet footwear to spruce up your look and keep you warm wouldn't hurt at all. I'm definitely a fan of the trend now and already have a couple of cool items in one of my many shopping bags so get yourself something too and let's see you style it fabulously for the gram. In the main time...
