He was already a mega superstar in my eyes and i'm sure most of you feel the same way. Still, its a pretty huge deal to get your name engraved on the marbles of time. Funny man Kevin Hart received his star on the prestigious Hollywood Walk of Fame, joining legends like Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, Elton John and comedians like Tim Allen, Ellen DeGeneres, Jamie Foxx, Eddie Murphy and so many others. To celebrate the comedic genius, Kevin was joined by close family and friends. See all the pictures after the cut.

He was introduced to the stage where he was awarded with the 2,591st star by close pal and co-star Ice Cube who apparently seems to be roasting the comedian.

Kevin posted a picture on his Instagram with his close friends Will Parker, Tim Story and Ice Cube. He captioned it "this is the true definition of a trio". #Family

Also on his IG he showed some love to some more of friends who came out in numbers to celebrate the star.

Kevin flashing his pearly whites with his star!

50-year-old Halle Berry (doesnt look a day close to 50) was also on the scene looking ravishing as usual. She stepped out to support her friend on his big day.

Nothing made me happier than seeing the whole family together in smiles. #Pictureperfect. Kevin and his newly wedded wife the beautiful Eniko was joined by his amazing ex-wife Torie Hart along side their kids, 8-year-old Hendrix and 11-year old Heaven.

Kevin Hart is yet another Talent to be inspired by. Although success didnt come immediately to the 37-year-old actor, he kept his cool and was not in a hurry to be where he wasn't supposed to be. Patience is Key and timing is everything. When your God appointed time comes, success will come knocking with full force, you just have to be ready to receive it. I say Kevin had waited long enough and was ready. Just this year alone, the comedian was ranked by Forbes Magazines on his list of Highest Paid Comedians with an earning of $87.5 million earnings from his sold out tours, movies and so many more project. With Kevin Hart still as eager and hungry to do more, expect a whole lot more from him. I'll leave you with one of my favorite quotes from the comedian.

"Everybody wants to be famous, but nobody wants to do the work. I live by that. You grind hard so you can play hard. At the end of the day, you put all the work in, and eventually it'll pay off. It could be in a year, it could be in 30 years. Eventually, your hard work will pay off" - Kevin Hart
