ON THE SCENE; THE 2016 GHANA GLITZ STYLE AWARDS.

The 2016 Ghana Glitz Style Awards brought out all the best and most incredible fashion Ghana had to offer. From the A-list actors to the sizzling Socialites, Models, Beauty and Fashion Guru's, i must say, Ghana only gets better with their incredible Fashion, Style and highly organised Award Shows. See all the red carpet looks after the cut and be inspired.

Nana McBrown looked delectable in a blue and white curve-hugging feathery plunge-neckline mermaid number which she paired with a cute fringe clutch. She looks gorgeous, good way to launch the Award's looks right?!

Most definitely one of my favorite looks for the event. Actress and TV presenter beautiful Joselyn Dumas never disappoints. She looked bold and beautiful in a gold figure-hugging beaded number. She known what fits that body of hers so there is really not much to say on this except perfecto!

Actress Nana Akua Addo made "the" appearance of the day, looking beautiful in a sheer silver embellished body hugging turtle-neck long-sleeve number. Pheww she did not come to play, she came to slay and she nailed it.

Model and designer Vica Michaels hit the red carpet looking fashionable in a blue long-sleeve ball gown. Her dress featured a deep embellished design around the neckline and the trim of her sleeves. I dont know why but i love her look head-to-toe. I think she looks unconventional, and i genuinely love the design of her dress and her hair is gorgeous!

TV host Sandra Ankobiah made an impression and turned heads looking bossy in a black custom made suit by Nigerian Designer Mai Atafo. This is what should come to your head every time you hear the word corporate chic perfection!

Ghanaian actress Zynnell Lydia walked away with the award for Most Stylish Movie Star. I must agree, she is stylish. Before she made her way into the award show, she shined on the red carpet in a gold turtle-neck long-sleeve thigh-baring number by designer Sima Brew.

Pop princess Adina Thembi Ndamse hit the red carpet in a sleeveless silver dress by Ghana's finest designer Sima Brew. Thoughts? I'm 50-50 on this because i think the top of her gown does not flatter her as much as i would want it to.

Actress Yvonne Nelson kept it simple and casual in a black off-shoulder top and a grey midi flare skirt anchored by some lovely grey pointed heels.

Actor Toosweet Annan kept it cool in a black and burgundy tuxedo by designer Yakmen. He looked really good, this picture did not do him any justice.

I definitely think Ghana's newest TV "it girl" Amihere Serwaa is one to watch out for, especially in the style category. She stole the show on the red carpet wearing a black ball dress by designer Sima Brew, who seemed to be the choice designer of the night.

TV and Radio girl Berla Addardey  walked away with multiple wins at the awards. Snagging the award for Most Stylish Personality the fashionista hit the red carpet in a blue peplum tulle number. I think she always looks great but this look was so overwhelming to look at, it is an explosion and not one of my best looks for the event.

Ghanaian designer Sima Brew was the designer of the night, her gowns were all over the carpet and on ex-beauty queen Maame Ayiwa who opted for this dramatic strapless high-low ball gown. Thoughts?

Ghanaian Stylist Kelvin Vincent was fashionable in a black tuxedo, he snagged the award for Stylist of the Year. How cute is that bow tie?!

Fashion Blogger Afua Rida stole the spotlight looking angelic in a white strapless off-shoulder floor-lenght number. Also one of my favorite looks of the night, simple and elegant plus nothing beats a sleek ponytail.

Multiple Award winning lead TV Producer Pokua Chante hit the red carpet looking dreamy in a sleeveless silver embellished petal designed cape number. She looks gorgeous.

TV Broadcaster Anita M. V. Erskine rocked her Vlisco designed floor-lenght fringe designed dress proudly. Such an ebony beauty.

Red Carpet Hostess Vanessa Sullivan rocked a bun and sizzled in a black beaded high-low number. Cute!

Ghanaian Ex-beauty queen Stephanie Karikari matched her pink strapless sheer insert longsleeve gown with a shimmering silver choker. She looks good but looking inside the visible part of her pink number, tacky mess!

Ex Miss Malaika  Kukua Korsah was also in attendance at the Award Show, she hit the red carpet looking costume ready in a dramatic strapless ball gown. She looks pretty but she really reminds me of the statue or Liberty with all that drama on her dress and her purse is over-flowing! Girl...who is your stylist as a beauty queen and why did you show up with so much and such a little purse?!

Regina Van-Helvert and her purple mane hit the red carpet in a blue one hand thigh-baring slit number. I think her outfit is very flattering and she definitely didnt have to match her hair with her eye make up. MISS!

Singer Becca hit the red carpet in a white longsleeve plunge-neckline mermaid gown. She rocked minimal make up and styled her hair in a sleek ponytail. Although, she might need to learn some more applauding red carpet poses.

Male model Ian Mordi hit the red carpet in an army green and black suit. Green might not be my first color for a dark male but i think he looks pretty cool.

Nigerian designer Mai Atafo and his fury loafers walked the carpet with his muse for the night, Sandra Ankobiah. the pair looked exquisite in tuxes.

Sadly, Ghanaian Actress Gloria Osei had my least favorite look at the Award Show, her outfit was a clutter and distracting with so many patterns and so much going on. The hair just sent the look home for me, her hair is horribly styled its almost a joke.
