The CDFA Fashion Awards recognizes extraordinary design excellence in: womenswear, menswear, accessories, as well as accomplishments in journalism, creative vision, and lifetime achievement. The 2016 CFDA Fashion Awards is about to begin in NYC and the Big Apple's Stars are about to flood the red carpet. Lets head straight there and see what extraordinary fashion they have for us tonight.

Of course i'm going to start off with my Queen! Beyonce sparkled in a silver-striped Givenchy pant suit which she paired with a black over-sized hat. She accepted the award for CDFA Fashion Icon so she had to get in formation with the look. 

Shanina Shayk was radiant on the red carpet in a bright orange/amber plunge-neckline cut-out pleated number.

Always a vision Rosie Hungtington-Whiteley...The super model walked the red carpet in a custom  mint beaded georgette godet gown from Michael Kors Collections.

Heidi Klum looks simply exquisite. The Project Runway hostess slipped into a black and white one-hand Roland Mouret gown for the night.

Always a stunner! Olivia Culpo kept is formal and cool on the red carpet in a Kate Spade jacket paired with a mini tutu skirt and some black heels. She looks radiant.

 Dianne Von Furstenberg the iconic designer and President of the CDFA's kept it stunning in a polka dot mini dress with a fringe hem with fishnet sticking and plastic heels.

Julianne Hough  looks elegant in her silver metallic embroidered stretch-tulle dress from the Fall 2016 Michael Kors Collection paired with some matching sandals.

Jennifer Hudson was also in attendance at the awards...She hit the red carpet in a black and red  onyx-and crimson strapless gown from Prabal Gurung’s Resort 2016 collection.. She looks nice but i cant get over her hair and her overly fluttery lashes..too much!

 Irina Shayk is such a pretty lady. She looked effortlessly beautiful on the red carpet in a red halter wide-leg jumpsuit by Misha Nonoo and some matching red heels. 

Those sandals dont do justice to Orange is The New Black star Samira Wiley's feet. But she still managed to smile and be merry on the red carpet in her colorful frock by Milly. I love her!!!

Not my best look for Ugly Betty Star America Ferrera but the Latino beauty still looks put together in her long black gown.

Lauren Conrad looks beautiful in a long nude slip dress paired with a black tux, one of her designs. 

Emily Ratajkowski was also in attendance, for the night, the actress slipped into a long black slip Atelier Swarovski gown...She doesn't have to do much to look pretty this one. 

Expect the Olsen sisters to be red carpet ready in black! Mary-kate, Ashley and Elizabeth Olsen the power-house fashion designer sisters attended the awards and walked the red carpet together...talk about being in a Row (incase you didnt know their fashion brand is called The Row).

 Naomi Campbell showed off her super model abs in a black cut-out backless number by Brandon Maxwell

Calvin Klein walked the red carpet in a classic black tux. 

Super model Karlie Kloss is giving us red carpet  Tinkerbell vibes in her whiteRosie Assoulin gown, the model's gown is covered in little multi-colored #Swarovski hearts and stars...Fancy!

Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer sure look happy to be at the CDFA's both ladies are sporting outfits by designer Rebecca Minkoff.

 Ciara!!! Unfortunately, this Roberto Cavalli didn't do her any justice... i dont know what inspired her red carpet choice for the event, but she sure looks a hot mess! Terrible!

Jamie Chung in Banana Republic...Nice to know Banana Republic are doing things differently, i hear their new stuff would hit the shelves soon.  

Ansel Elgort clearly took a cue from SJP's Met Gala look. Hamilton wouldn't be proud. 

Sarah Sampio kept it simple with an LBD and matching black heels.

Vera Wang in a black backless dress...the ageless designer looks good.

Ebony beauty Gabrielle Union Wade looks as radiant as ever on the red carpet. 

Anna Wintour is obviously wearing Gucci. For the award show she is to present the brand’s creative director Alessandro Michele with the International Award.

Such a confident lady! Larvene Cox hit the red carpet looking classy  in a dramatic brown gown with train sleeves designed by Marc Bouwer.

Betsey Johnson; to say she looks crazy would be crazy of me because crazy is her thing! The Designer's hot pink frock takes over the red carpet as she playfully poses for cameras.
