Hey love bugs, lets talk trends cause it seems The Victorian-era Corset's might be officially making it's way back into fashion. I have been on the look out for this recurring trend, but after sporting Gigi Hadid yesterday step out looking stunning in a black and white corset and some black pants, i knew it was officially back and a 2016 must have trend.

It wasn't so long ago we saw Laura Govan pose as possibly the sexiest hitch-hiker ever, wearing a basket-weave corset, and then we saw Kim Kardashian step out with her daughter rocking an exposed black corset with a nude mini leather skirt.

Also in line with the trend was Rihanna, who is definitely one of the biggest trend-setters of her time. She put her fashion foot forward with the corset trend, as she was seen exiting the Nice Guy Restaurant in Hollywood looking fashionable in a purple exposed Chanel corset dress. This definitely drove home the corset trend for me.

Sarah Jessica Parker's infamous MET Gala look, also featured a detailed corset by designer Monse. So i guess the corsets might just have officially made their way out of the confinement of our lingerie drawers and back in the fashion scenes. Like most returning trends, trust designers to have re-vamped its look to make it more wearable and fashionable. Like Gigi's outfit, this look can be paired with anything from flare pants to mini skirts and they would even look nice with a well-fitted pair of jeans. Ladies get to strapping those laces and make this trend work.

Would you be trying this trend?...let me know your thoughts.
