Nigerian Jeweler and stylist, Gbenga Ayo-Dada of Art-smith collections, debuts his amazing Jewelry line titled Eko Akete. Inspired by the intriguing streets of Lagos. The designs feature statement necklaces, earrings, cocktail ring, bangles and brooches. Each design has a unique name and story behind it, inspired by scenario's from the famous streets of Lagos City.

The Yellow turban "Oshuka", is inspired by hawkers and laborers on the streets of Lagos, who commonly have a piece of fabric wrapped round, as a means of support and balance for loads placed on their head .

Ashake Onidiri is that Lagos Hairstylist who is a master of her craft and wont fail to show it off on herself.

Aunty Oni Brooch, is inspired by traders in Lagos who fondly display their accessories on themselves or pin it on an aprom they commonly wear.

Adesua, hails from Benin (a city in Nigeria), she is proud of her Ethnicity. She styles her hair to resemble the "Okuku"; a crown common to brides and queens of her tribe. She is a queen herself, a Benin Queen in Lagos!

Oyinlola, is your typical Lagos party rocker, who wants to have as much fun as she can at weddings every weekend.

Yarinya Eko; in Hausa language, Yarinya means "Girl".So, yarinya Eko translates to girl in Lagos. She is a young girl in Lagos who is in tune with the urban elegance of modern life, but hasn't lost touch of her roots. Hence the reason she spots "Lalle" (henna tattoo) as part of her everyday look.

EKÓ AKÉTÈ; Collection for Artsmith's first-ever diffusion line. In my Opinion, an elegant and amazing collection.
