ON THE SCENE; THE 47TH NAACP IMAGE AWARDS.

It was a night of grace and glam, as all of Tinsel Town's finest gathered to celebrate the Annual NAACP awards. All our favorite celebrities came out in their numbers and glided the red carpet looking their very best. From Kerry Washington to Viola Davis, Will and Jada Smith to Gabriel Union. Lets take a look.

This woman is a living proof that less is more. She is the most authentic form of sophistication. Kerry Washington! She shined in a Victoria Beckham white custom made dress.

Also one of my favorite looks of the night, Gabrielle Union in a tulle dress by Rita Vinieris.

Taraji P. Henson shined in Balmain.

Darby Snatchfield; its safe to call her one of the best dressed women of the night. She was a grey goddess in a turtle-neck long-sleeve number.

Tracee Ellis Ross opted for a black in a sequined Rubin Singer number and caged sandals.

Teyonah Parris looked elegant in head to toe Pedram Couture.

Grace Gealey such a beauty... The Empire beauty looked wonderful in purple Ziad Nakad gown.

Naturi Naughton showed off her decolletage in Galia Lahav.

Eva Marcille shined in a Gregorio Sanchez gown.

Amber Riley flashed a bit of skin in a crop top and a MarQ By MarQuette skirt...Stunning!

Jurnee Smolett looked stunning and simple in a belle gown.

Claudia Jordan looked extremely stunning in her Eduardo Lucerola dress was fab!

Laura Govan hit the red carpet in a fringed peach Hamel gownen with cut-outs.

Anthony Anderson skewed svelte in burgundy tones.

Serayah also one of my favorite picks of the night, she stunned in Phillip Plein. That's a classic bob!

When she isn't fighting for Negroes she is making a statement. Aujanue Ellis used the occasion to make a statement, urging Mississippi to take their flag down.

Chrissy Teigen isn’t letting pregnancy stop her sexy! She showed off her stems in a high slit dress by Haney.

Gorgeous couple Will and Jada Smith.

Jennifer Williams chose an Anaz Official dress for the night. She looks great!

Kimberly Elise’s beauty was amplified by her blue embellished dress.

Laverne Cox arrived the red carpet looking elegant in her custom Marc Bouwer look was stunning.

Sanaa Lathan’s shined in a color! She embodies the phrase red hot

Tika Sumpter was styled in Elie Saab.

Red carpet diva Toccara shined in a plum plunge-neck number. Someone clearly has been training her waist.

Wendy Raquel Robinson looked like a golden goddess in this embellished beaut.

Yara Shahidi laughed it up in a scribble printed strapless dress by Milly... such a stunning lil beauty.
Bryshere Gray, the empire star looked dapper in an ensemble by Musika Frere.

I must confess this is one of the fiercest red carpet i have seen all year. Everyone showed up prepared and looked their very best. Who is your favorite? leave your comments down below.
