Today's spotlight is on someone who i have a lot of love and respect for, she is a true definition of beauty unparalleled, with enough class and poise to keep her as sort after as she initially was when she first stole our hearts at the 2001 Most beautiful girl in Nigeria pageant. She is none other than the delectable Miss Agbani Darego.

Agbani Darego (born Agbani Asenite Darego on the 22nd of December, 1982), is a Nigerian model and beauty queen. In 2001, after being crowned the Most Beautiful girl in Nigeria, she went on to win the crown at the Miss World pageant and became the first Native African to claim the Miss World title.

Its no secret it has been almost impossible for Nigeria to deliver another ravishing beauty to follow in the footsteps of the veteran, but then again how do you follow up on such beauty!!! Ever since her reign ended the beauty queen has prided herself in modelling, she was a one-time brand ambassador for L'oreal becoming the second black model to accomplish this after Vanessa Williams. From posing in the pages of Vogue to Elle, allure, cosmopolitan and Marie Claire just to mention a few to owning her own clothing line... Agbani has proven to us that elegance is the only beauty that never fades.

Now 14 years later, the beauty queen still looks as graceful as she did when she first stole the love and affection of the entire world!!! trust me she does! She is one fine tall glass of wine, and as Audrey Hepburn once said "The beauty of a woman, with passing years only grows!”

Agbani Darego is currently attending the 2015 Miss World beauty Pageant in China and she posted this picture standing with her fellow ex-beauty queens...need i say more?! Dear Agbani Darego, we love you so much and are inspired by your effortless and simple charisma, thank you for being a good role model and beauty queen, we wish you the best in all your future endeavors.

Dear ladies, this also goes to show us that beauty is skin deep and not as glaring as anything we have going on the outside...so don't loose focus.
